Welcome to Baden Powell Hostel - A Historic Landmark, Reimagined for the Modern Traveler

Nestled along Governor Pack Road—just steps from SM City Baguio and major bus terminals—Baden Powell Hostel is a beloved piece of Baguio’s history, now being thoughtfully transformed into a 3-star hotel.

The hostel is best known as the site where the Philippine Commission held its first Baguio session in 1904, officially marking the city as the Summer Capital of the Philippines. While the historic facade has been beautifully preserved, the interiors have been fully renovated to offer a fresh, comfortable stay.

Under new management, exciting additions are underway—including a café lounge, student lounge, and in-house restaurant—creating a lively hub for travelers, students, and locals alike.

And yes—we’re pet-friendly! Your furry companions are welcome to join you on your Baguio adventure.

Whether you're visiting to explore the city’s rich heritage, enjoy the cool mountain air, or simply need a cozy and convenient base in the city center, Baden Powell Hostel offers the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and character.
